The power-saving CMOS sensor with five-megapixel resolution enables high-resolution recordings. With the 5x optical zoom you can also capture subjects at a greater distance. And you can bring them even closer when additionally using the 4x digital zoom. A digital picture stabilizer reduces any shaking on shutter release. The camera is also equipped with a video light for recording in reduced lighting conditions, such as in a dark interior. Up to eight megapixel (interpolated) pictures digital photos can be captured. The DV-5580Z saves your photos, videos and audio on SD or SDHC memory card with up to eight GB. Power is supplied by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. The supplied TV cable allows you to play back the captured results directly on a TV screen. Video output with 1920 x 1080 pixel is possible on a PC and HDTV device. |
